About Us
Founded in 1998 by Stephen Brown and Tim Beattie, Brown & Beattie Ltd. has earned a reputation for its broad expertise in Building Restoration, Capital Planning, and Forensic Engineering. Our clientele ranges from Condominium Corporations and Rental Housing Operators, into the commercial, industrial, insurance, and public sectors.
Steve and Tim were engineers first, driven to provide value to clients, putting their needs first and trusting that their own achievement would naturally follow from a client-centric focus. That philosophy continues to serve us today. They would never have imagined that, from humble beginnings, their little firm would grow to 50 dedicated staff who collectively look after hundreds of clients.
Presently, Jeremy Nixon, Brad Gascoigne, and Stephen MacDougall lead the Executive team, continuing the legacy started by Steve and Tim. Jeremy, Brad, and Steve have collectively over 50 years of experience at Brown & Beattie, understanding well what has allowed the company to thrive and what success looks like for our clients.
Our other senior leaders are also long-tenured, providing company and client continuity that is increasingly rare and a significant advantage to the company and clients alike.
